Jennifer and Jason’s love story began like many modern day romances, online. Jennifer, tech savvy and seconded by her ever vigilant little sister, Michelle, combed through the inner workings of the internet to cyber stalk Jason to make sure that he was up to snuff. Jason thought Jennifer looked really good and left it at that. They met for the first time on the evening of June 3, 2021 at Gemma in The Bowery Hotel in Manhattan’s East Village. Dressed, as always, in a jacket and pocket square, Jason was there early, attempting to convince the bartender that he had his jiggers in the wrong order. Jennifer, dolled up and looking stunning as always, rolled in a tad later but it was well worth the wait. It was love at first shot(s) and sight. After their initial six hour encounter, they quickly became inseparable. In fact, they have spoken to one another each and every day save just one. When Jason, on a brief sojourn to Mexico, ran afoul of some sketchy water. He struggled to reach the phone, only inches from his fingertips, when Jennifer called 4, 5, 12 separate times but to no avail. To prove her independence, she sallied off to the beach with her friends and promptly procured the worst sunburn of her life to spite that “son of a bitch non phone picking up son of a gun.” Properly chastised, Jason now only drinks bottled water when abroad. In October of 2022, they decided to share a home together in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn with their beloved (but stupid) little Cavalier puppy, Occum, and the (in)famous giant cat, Morrison. Jason, feeling no pressure nor duress, popped the big question on October 4, 2024 during Jennifer’s birthday dinner at Daniel in New York City. It was a magical moment, highlighted by the servers at Daniel whisking the newly engaged couple back to the kitchen for some reason unbeknownst to them to this day. They are excited to make their partnership permanent, a forever union and to share their happiness with the wonderful family and friends they have each brought into each other’s lives. They look forward to celebrating their marriage with all of you at The Liberty Warehouse in their hometown of Brooklyn, New York on Saturday, March 7, 2026. The best is yet to come. She is also one of the original members of Sibling Summers, when Jennifer, Michelle and Robin spent their entire summers together in Brooklyn driving the adults and each other mad, but making memories that will be cherished for life.

Jennifer was fortunate enough to first meet Cris when he and Sis became quick and natural friends at NYU. Jennifer has loved him from their first meeting and ever since.

Jennifer met Betty in 2007 at her first law firm job at Heidell Pittoni Murphy and Bach, where Betty was a Partner and accomplished trial attorney. Betty has been a dear friend, inspiration and mentor ever since. Jennifer had the joy of introducing her to Jason in 2025.  We are honored to have her as our Officiant.
